The built in is 10GbE so better to use for networking. IMO

I'll get a sticky posted today, but we just released PT 24.10.

Pro Tools 24.10 is qualified on Sequoia
Carbon standalone with Audio Midi Setup is also qualified with Sequoia
Carbon Central, either with a single Carbon of with Pres, is NOT qualified with Sequoia.
There are multiple Apple bugs but their resolution is looking positive.

You can check this KB for known issues and work arounds. It will also be updated once we are able to qualify Carbon Central.

lol. 1 step forward, 2 steps back.

I got my M2 Max Studio last week assuming my carbon expanded system support for sequoia was just around the corner! Well egg on my face.

$12k invested in carbon + carbon pre’s + Mac Studio, and only my one single carbon works. Might be time to just get rid of this setup and buy a used HDX card and an antelope audio galaxy.

Anyway, thanks for getting some of it working. I won’t hold my breath that CC will be working any time soon.

I hear ya. I am feeling positive about getting these resolved soon, we've gotten good results from Apple on these issue recently, so I am hopeful you wont have to wait long.

So just to make sure I understand. A single Carbon interface is qualified on Sequoia OS --- BUT for ONLY for PT 24.10 correct ?

Yes, since 24.10 is the first version of Pro Tools that is qualified on Sequoia, then by proxy yes, Carbon is qualified for Sequoia with 24.10.

While there was not much/if any specific fixes in Pro Tools to support Carbon on Sequoia, there were many fixes in Pro Tools itself to perform well on Sequoia.

So yes, Carbon and PT 24.10 are like peanut butter n jelly on Sequoia bread.

Exactly, I'm using built in etherent for networking which i prefer to use over the wifi. I see Carbon is now qualified with latest PT, will update tonight!
