MBOX Studio interface problems (NEW)

Got a call in to Sweetwater Support and waiting for callback…
Meanwhile, reaching out for some pity LOL😉
New MBoX Studio package, installed last night and then when I plugged in the MBOX interface, only the two large dials were backlit, and the AVID logo. No other buttons were illuminated. I kept getting messages of “connecting” and then “unable to connect”, and once “unable to load firmware files” (or similar to that). I’ve tried I believe everything I’ve found on net, and no change. Also, when I push in the POWER button on the backside, it has no effect—will not shut it down. However, if I unplug power it’ll go off, plug back in, hit power button and it will power up…I don’t have a good feeling about this box…🥴
Anyone else had this happen?

Make sure you have the latest version of Mbox Control installed. You can download this from your my.avid.com/products#Myproducts

Yes I have done that twice an no change. Sweetwater Support has reached out to me and we are exchanging messages now.
