I had a strange problem with those drivers.
I did a clean install of Mountain Lion in my Mac Pro system. I installed the 1.1.1 drivers for Mountain Lion but, for my surprise, they didn't work. Any sound redirected to the Eleven Rack sound output was badly distorted (kind of grainy, like a 16 bit sound played at 24 bit). This situation was effective independently of the software used. I've tried Pro Tools, Logic Audio, Reason and even iTunes and ir was always like this. The only solution I've get was to uninstall the 1.1.1 version of the drivers and install the 1.0.5 version. All is working now but it is not supposed to... I'm using Mountain Lion so it was supposed to work the other way around... Could any one explain or help me getting this sorted out? |
