Loop tracks stuck together - change 1 change all

* Pro Tools M-Powerd 8
* 2MB RAM
* Attached Hard Drives: LaCie, G-Drive attached via USB Hub
* Attached USB: M-Audio Keystation 49e directly to computer
* M-Audio Firewire 1814 attached directly to computer
* project files running off of LaCie Hard drive


CONTEXT

Thank you in advance...! I am new to Pro Tools so the answer may be quite simple.


OVERVIEW

I am using the Pro Tools loops disc that came with the software package. Once the loops overlap in the timeline (this has happened with previously recorded audio as well) I am no longer able to make changes to individual tracks. When I move 1 track down the timeline, all the other tracks move as well; When I move the fader in 1 track, all the other track's faders move as well. Some of the times that this has happened there may be one track that is able to move independently but if you select any of the other tracks it is group with them.

It is as if they are synced or grouped. However, I have been unable to fix it or find answer via those search terms.

* I have created the tracks by both dragging below existing tracks, allowing pro tools to automatically create tracks AND by dragging to an existing instrument track.
* I have tried selecting different modes (i.e Slip, Shuttle, Grid and SPot) and the problem persists.
* I have tried selecting the different tools and deselecting different tools (i.e. mirrored MIDI editing, insertion follows playback, etc.)
* I have tried changing the order of the tracks.


ANY ideas?

Check in your groups folder, (down in the bottom left of the arrange window) and see if 'All' is selected. If it is then any automation or track volume adjustments you do to one track will affect all channels.

Maybe you have checked this, but thought id chip in
