Default Dual monitor issue with S6L Standalone

I have two monitors, one which has a resolution of 1920x1080 and the other one an older monitor with a resolution of 1440x900.

The Venue v5.2 software needs a 1080 monitor. When I open it, somehow it opens up on the monitor with the lower resolution and gives a warning that it can work only on HD monitors after which the only option is to close it.

There is no window to drag to the other monitor. The only workaround being to disconnect the second monitor and reboot.

Does it help to make the 1080 monitor the primary screen in Windows?

The 1080 is the primary display.

It helps if I swap displays with Catalyst. I've also physically swapped the ports to which the displays are connected.

I'll pass this one along the chain.

Thanks for reporting.

A temporary solution that should work for you:

1. Open Registry Editor (Win+R, type "regedit", press Enter).
2. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Avid\VENUE
3. Right-click on "VENUE" and choose New->DWORD (32-bit) Value.
4. Type "DisplayNumber1" as a name.
5. Edit value to be "1".
6. Try starting standalone. If doesn't work, change value to 2 and retry. Keep increasing values until you get what you need. But don't go higher than 9 - that won't make sense.
