Default sound ideas in Los Angeles?

Hey All,

Looking for sound ideas 5000 series CD's here in LA, is there any shop-ish place that sells them(has them in stock?)

Why not just buy them directly from Sound Ideas? They ship for free.

Why do you want the 5000 series? I have found them to be of limited use for cars. There is no manuevering sounds, engine revs, backing out of driveways, external steadies, racing, skids, cornering, etc. Also, no modern cars, hardly any SUV's, vans, trucks, etc. Mostly just boring starts, idles, pull aways. And each car is recorded exactly the same way as the previous car, no variety.

Maybe someone else knows of a better car library besides just recording your own, which I do when I can.
