002 rack power harness power suplly issue

I recently purchased 002 rack ( used) and ran into the problem of the 002r resetting itself progressively getting worse to where it would'nt work at, it wouldnt reconnect at all!
upon reading the forums here i heard a quick resolution was to contact digi and they would send out a new power harness and or a new power supply giving you instructions on how to replace them.

my main reason for posting this is to let anyone know that if this your problem as well, try doing what i did after someone suggested to plug and unplug all the cables inside it from power supply and main board, after i did this and had no problems it makes me wonder if people are replacing power harnesses and power supplies when in fact all they had to do was unplug and replug the connections in, breaking any corrosion up that has formed causing the problems in the first place!

so if you have the problems i described and think its a bad power harness or supply first pretend u got a new power supply and power harness, open up the case and replug in the connections...voila!

They should just ship a backup or two with the original unit. I'm just waiting for the day when, POW!!!! I feel like faking the power harness issue now, so I have the backup when it happens.
