Default cursor, space bar and scrolling behaviour

Hi...Pro Tools 12.7.1 I have my scroll settings switched to 'page' and 'insertion follows playback' is unchecked. For years this has worked fine....the cursor follows the track and turns the page and then I press space bar ONCE and the cursor goes back to the start of the selection AND the display goes back a page and shows me where I started. BUT, for some weird reason I NOW have to press the space bar TWICE...once to stop playback and then again to make the display show me the start of the selection: but of course when i press it the second time it starts playing! . It's most annoying. Anyone have any ideas? THANKS

I have the same issue. Glad to have more reports as it takes a few reports to get any action from Avid

I started taking consciousness about it around 12.7, could be 12.6.x

I noticed it happening with update to 12.7.1 for sure.

Thank goodness, I thought I was going mad...(not the first time I have felt this since moving from Digidesign HD to Avid ProTools native) Thanks for the responses....

I'm experiencing this as well, and it's a drag. My version of 12 seems to be 12.7.0.676 (Is that possible?...that's what comes up when I get "info" from the application)
Is this issue fixed in 12.7.1
Thanks!
