Default S/pdif out of M-Audio Fast Track Ultra 8R into S/pdif in Focusrite VRM Box

Am trying to run S/pdif out of M-Audio Fast Track Ultra 8R into S/pdif in Focusrite VRM Box so that I can monitor mix on M-Audio FTU using KRK Rokit 10-3 Speakers and also monitor mix on Focusrite VRM Box using studio headphones. Currently I have to change Playback Engine in Pro Tools 10 Setup to switch between the two monitoring systems. I set up hardware as per Focusrite VRM Box web instructions and there is no link of s/pdif signal ? I have visible signal from M-Audio FTU S/pdif software control panel but no linked signal on the Focusrite VRM software control panel. Appreciate any replies that can assist me with this as i have not found a solution on Avid 'M-Audio' & Focusrite websites or youtube Cheers

Found fix - Focusrite VRM will not work in USB3 and using USB2 port on Laptop will allow me to get it's S/PDIF 'in' to link to M-Audio FTU 8R S/PDIF 'out'

Looking for any Member that can advise me of any youtube or web sites that help understand & explain the use of each room/speaker setting in Focusrite VRM Box. This would be valuable info when doing mixing in Pro Tools 10 DAW
