Pt10 midi instruments sync issue with audio

Hi I'm hoping someone can help me.

I'm using the latest version of PT10, it was working fine until one of the updates before 10.3.7 etc

Now all my internal midi instruments are out of sync with audio on playback or even whilst writing .

I'm having to almost put a - delay on each instrument of around 20 ms to enable playback to be synced between audio / internal midi instruments.

it had worked previously before one of the updates but now even trying to revert back to a previous version of PT10 doesn't cure the issue.

Any help would be appreciated, my hardware is listed below....

please note no hardware changes have been made prior to it working correctly and now

PT10 , motu 2408 MK2, Asus M5A78L motherboard, 16Gb DDR3 , AMD Phenom II x 4 196T 3GHz CPU.
Windows 7 64

Do you have delay compensation enabled? Setup-->Playback Engine

no I haven't tried that

H/w buffer size 1024

Host Processors 3

CPU usages 85 %

Host engine (ticked) (ignore errors during playback / record)

minimise I/o latency (un ticked)

Delay compensation (none)

plug in streaming buffer (level 2)

What happens if you turn on delay compensation? Does the problem get better? Worse? No change?

no charge when turning delay compensation on

Any change if you lower your hardware buffer to the minimum number of samples?

i'll re check that but i'm sure it didn't makr any differnce last time
i tried.

Thing is i was all working fine @ one point
