Re: delete rendered files elastic audio BUG!!!
where is our fix!!!!
Pro Tools 7.4cs8 Updates for HD, LE, M-Powered on Mac & Windows Available from the Pro Tools CS Updates quick link in Support: www.digidesign.com/support/csupdates Pro Tools 7.4
Fixed: Pro Tools and Reason Crash When Loading "Machine" Patches on Reason Adapted Combinator (Item #106627) * Only occurs in Reason Adapted, and does not occur when Reason Adapted is operated without Pro Tools HD, LE, MP (Windows only) Fixed: When Importing More than 100 Audio Files, Pro Tools could Close with no Warning (Item #100595) * This would occur when importing all of the files at the same time HD Only (Mac/Win) Fixed: Focusing A VCA Master on D-Command Causes an Access Violation (Item #105968) * If trying to save after the Access Violation, the session file could become corrupt LE Only (Mac/Win) Fixed: When Recording, Waveform Overviews are Missing or Drawn with Gaps (Item #100862) * The audio was not affected, and the waveform could be restored by re-calculating it after the record pass __________________ Digi Web Admin |

Re: delete rendered files elastic audio BUG!!!
So wouldn't closing and reopening the session before you consolidate delete the render files??

Re: delete rendered files elastic audio BUG!!!
The fix, obviously, was not implemented in this CS release.
At the moment it's not looking like something that's going to be simple and quick, so it could take awhile. In the meantime - the easiest way to get around this is to skip that last consolidate, since committing already generates a new audio file. It's the committing that's causing the break which leaves Pro Tools unable to delete the render files. |

Sorry, does that mean it's still liable to be a problem in PT8 when it is released, and does it also mean that even after the release of PT8 it will be addressed in a CS update for PT7.4? Thanks. |

Re: delete rendered files elastic audio BUG!!!
It's still likely to be in Pro Tools 8 - the mechanism hasn't changed.
I don't have specific info on how it will be addressed yet - we have to have engineering look at it and determine the best course of action. |

Re: delete rendered files elastic audio BUG!!!
