And great thanks to Avid for supporting drivers for old unsupported hardware

The question is also valid for 003R. I assume if there is one common driver for 002R (unsupported, untested) and 003R (supported and tested), so if ASIO part is missing for 002R it is missing for 003R either.

Digging DUC and other forums some deeper...
There are threads users claim that the last working (with issues) ASIO for 002R was 8.0.4b

I think 9.0.2.65 was the last driver to include ASIO part of the driver and 9.0.7, 9.0.8 are the drivers to keep 002R/003R functional for PT10, 11, 12 and Avid dropped ASIO support. No trace of anyone so desperate enough to combine drivers.
