Default PTLE 5.0.1 : a month, 2 months, 6 months, a year?

Digidesign, any idea how long we'll have to wait for the first 5.0.1 upgrade? Especially DSI 5.0.1, that will fix DIO issues with 3rd party software!

Digi sent me an email a couple days ago. They say it's coming soon, but I know what you mean. "Soon" could be summer or fall. Who knows.

This is what they sent:

Pro Tools 5.0.1 will be available shortly. Hang tight...

Best regards,

nightowl, that's sounds very cool.Do you have
skeptisism about upgrading. Also , are you
using a G4?I'd like to see PT LE take advantage of the altivec.

Went to a Digi 001 Demo last night conducted by a full-time Digi tech. 5.0.1 will be released at the same time as the 001 for Windows. He said it would be the last week in May or the first week in June. I expressed my doubts on the changing dates, but he assured me that the wheels are rolling and the date will be met (barring any glaring bug discoveries in the Windows software.)
