Default Plug In Of The Year

What's your favorite plug this year?

I was working on a project the other day when I realized I was very happy to have the Tube Tech Classic Channel from Softube. Just a great sounding all around channel strip.

Curious what you all think! If you can pick just one.

Carl

I love the TT and way happy to finally have it in 11, but Revoice pro has changed my workflow more than anything! Blue cats MB-7 2 would have to be right there as well.

Nothing super special for my perception happened this year.
There were some great plugins that came out and I was enjoying buying them. But nothing I would call outstanding.
So if I had to place the number 1anyways, it would go to: Phoenix Reverb Surround and R2 Surround.

Also eventually plugins prices dropped down drastically (either masked by the sales, promotions or BF) but today they cost at least 50% less of what they were 3 years ago.

Without any doubt, the number ONE hassle of the year was the new iLok License manager which affected my studio to stop working for 2 weeks.

Though I use and love my Waves, MCDSPs, Duende Natives etc. and there are in fact so many cool plugs out there by now, for me personally it´s somehow the Blue Cat MB-7 and Patchwork stuff as it is pretty good, innovative yet affordable work from a creative, yet friendly company, which has helped a lot of kinda desperated PT11-users throughout 2013 IMO.
They gave us some independence and cured us from being scared for some of our beloved and expensive plugs we were afraid of not being able to use anymore.
So, I guess, my very personal award would go to Blue Cat Audio MB-7/Patchwork.
Anyway.

Best wishes!
Cheers.
