The only way I've found to use Logic and 001 is to do as others have suggested - disable the MIDI and audio within in MultiMedia properties. This leaves us without MIDI functionality on the 001. I just used a Roland serial port driver I found on download.com and run my keyboard and sound modules from the serial port. This is working fine for me.
BUT - the big issue is that I can no longer use Pro Tools LE. Having removed the MIDI drivers for the 001, Pro Tools LE will not load. So I am left with Logic and Logic only!!!! For the moment, it is working fine. Time will tell if Logic holds as an all purpose solution. |
