Default Automating Every Track Except Vox

Hey guys, just a quick question. I just recently purchase the plugin "Turnado" by Sugar Bytes. It's really fun and I recommend it for the price! But anyway, it's giving me some great ideas as far as automating the instrument tracks (Filters, EQ, Vinyl Scratchdowns etc.), while keeping vocals right where they're at in the mix.

Here's my question: Is it best to just send each instrument track to one commanding Aux track, or is there a simpler way? Here's an example of what I'm doing...

Vox (out analog 1-2)

Bass (out bus 1-2)
Kick (out bus 1-2)
Snare (out bus 1-2)
Synth (out bus 1-2)

Instrument mix (in bus 1-2, with Turnado plugin, then automated)

Hope that helps explain what I'm talking about. Any input would be great!

And btw, I'm addicted to recording, it's absolutely amazing.

Thanks guys!

-Justin Pitlik

Select the tracks you want, and do a ctrl-g to GROUP them. Then whatever you do to one, you do to all of them.

Thank you. I did notice however, that you can't send all of the group tracks to the same output, unless I'm missing something...

Hold down the alt key while you change one of them, it'll change ALL of them.
