Default Pro Tools gets smaller after playing a note on MIDI keyboard

Hey,

I downloaded Pro Tools this day because i need it for my diploma. I downloaded it normally from the Avid website and followed the instructions. Then i opened, and everything seemed to be ok. But when i played a note on my Alesis VI61 MIDI keyboard, Pro Tools gets smaller, and im unable to get it back to the normal size.
I reinstalled it one time, and Pro Tools changed back to the normal size, but when i played one note on the keyboard, it happened again.
Even when i make the Edit- and Mix-Windows bigger, the size of the stuff stays the same (like in the attachments).
Is there anything i can do? I wrote the stuff i use in my signature, i hope you can read that. It would be nice if anyone can help me

It seems like the Alesis may be sending out strange messages. Download the free MIDI-OX utility program and run it with PT shut down. Try the different controls and such on your keyboard and see if it's sending out the correct message for the control being used.

Thanks for the help! What do you mean with PT shut down?

It looks like you are scaling your display. Rather than use a scale percentage, set the percentage to 100% and change the Display Resolution in Settings --> System --> Display.

He means what he wrote, Run the Midi Ox with Pro Tools shut down, Not launched, only computer started and no other programs running.

You will get an answer quickly with the OX and go from there.

Could be but from the description he thinks it's due to something coming from his Alesis.

Too bad the OP didn't enlighten us on the resolution of the problem. Excuse the pun.

I don't think he solved it or at least didn't post about it here. To me that usually means it was a pilot error that he's too ashamed to admit to.
