An ice hockey game is an exciting, dynamic and powerful sonic experience. From the thunderous crack of a puck hitting the boards at full speed to the gentle scrape of a stick on the ice, this library contains a complete range of the game’s on ice sounds, all captured with natural reverb in an indoor arena.

Included are a range of performances of skate, stick, puck, and whistle sounds, as well as rink door opens and closes, and various board, glass, and ice impacts.

https://hissandaroar.com/v3/soundlib...-shed-impacts/

SHED IMPACTS is a new HISSandaROAR mini Sound FX Library
recorded by disturbing the peace & quiet of COVID19 lockdown.

While working on prep for a greenhouse I noticed big clods of heavy clay
sounded amazing slamming into an old bunker wood shed...
Next step: surround it with microphones & exhaust myself firing dirt at it!
For this 2GB library I ended up recording three different sheds,
with EXT MKH8040 pair and INT MKH8020 pair and MKH8050.
Along with complex metal impacts and debris, there are also very solid
earth thuds useful for body falls, large scale foot stomps etc...

Note: early bird discount expires July 26th

Default TONSTURM 25 Switches Buttons And Levers

Watch the trailer on our site!

We are running an early bird discount until the 29.09.2020!

Full Version: Over 12GB of Sounds / 96Khz 24Bit / Single Mics And Mix Files
$119 US instead of $169 US

Lite Version: Over 3.7 GB of Sounds / 96Khz 24Bit / Just the Mix Files
$99 US instead of $129 US

Get it here: https://tonsturm.com/soundpacks/swit...ns-and-levers/

You need them every day: Switches, Buttons And Levers.
From vintage switches to modern buttons, from huge rusty levers to small rotary knobs, we got out to record a wide range of them so you are settled for every scenario.

https://soundcloud.com/tonsturm/tonsturm-25-soundcloud

We scouted for devices that had the most interesting sound character to them. We visited a prop warehouse and picked all the devices that appealed sonically to us.
We also went to a train museum to deliver you heavy and massive sounding levers and switches and inbetweens.
Sounds you will love using in your sound design.

To give you a wide range of flavors every sound was recorded with three different microphones. Changing from set to set.
The setups included the following microphones: Sanken CO-100k, Trance Amulett Piezo, Schoeps MS set with the extended body, Schoeps Cmit, and the Sennheiser MKH 8050.

When possible, we recorded at different distances, or with different mic patterns, so each sound is provided in different styles and transient proportion.

As a quick go to option we included a mixdown version for each file - combining the best qualities of each microphone.
Last but not least a photo of each recorded device is added to the artwork of each sound file so it will show up in your Soundminer search.

Two new HISSandaROAR Libraries released today:

FX007 SLIME MOVES

https://hissandaroar.com/v3/soundlib...07-slime-moves

Use Coupon Code "ROAR" for 33% Early Bird Discount - Expires Nov 8th

Following release of*our SLIME VOCAL Library someone asked if we could split off
the slime movement sounds, and rather than double up on content we decided to
record a separate mini FX Library. More hours of messing with disgusting slime,
and a small discovery resulted in lots of new very useful material: egg shells
mixed with slime adds a visceral texture!

check out the Making Of video, its pretty gross!

FX008 LIMESTONE QUARRY

https://hissandaroar.com/v3/soundlib...mestone-quarry

Use Coupon Code "ROAR" for 33% Early Bird Discount - Expires Nov 8th

While on my first road trip of 2020 I spent a few days in Oamaru and arranged two recording sessions
at Parkside Limestone Quarries. The star of the show was the huge hydraulic-powered cutting blade
with gleaming titanium teeth, which slices deeply into the limestone base. Of course we also captured
their other machines, operating at much higher rpm, including the largest CNC router in the country.

We performed, played, hit and rubbed these instruments with a carefully chosen collection of mallets, diverse superballs, bows, and custom devices.

Like with its predecessor “Esoteric Metal”,
the spaces we capture our recordings in are always crucial to us,
and therefore we took a lot of effort to come up with 4 different and spectacular sounding spaces to offer you a maximum sonic diversity and richness in sound.

1. The recordings took place in an orchestral rehearsal room, which has a nice and clear but also wooden warm reverb.

2. Second, we went to a Small Chapel, which had a very long and very dense reverb. Absolutely mind blowing.

3. Third, we were in a special studio room which has an acoustic that is tailored to suite the installed pipe organ.

4. Last but not least, we went to one of the best studios in the benelux country, to get a classic studio recording room sound.

https://tonsturm.com/resources_tonst...gallery_02.jpg

We recorded with 3 different mic setups and positions:

- In 7.0 Surround. 7 x Sennheiser MKH 8020. This setup was positioned quite distant to the sound source and will be a joy to use in wide cinema context.

- LCR with 3(!) Sanken CO-100k, to get you the most high frequency action. They were positioned at medium distance to the sound source.
- 1 Schoeps MS (with XT body to extend the frequency range) positioned close to the sound source. The Harp was recorded with a Trance Audio Inducer Piezo mic.

We also include carefully crafted mix-downs for your convenience: 5.0 surround Mix-downs and Stereo Mix-downs of everything.
