Default Kernel Panics with MBox2 Micro

Hello,

I was wondering if the kernel panics I've been experiencing are due to the fact that I unplug my MBox2 Micro after closing PT while keeping my MacBook Pro powered up ?

Is it necessary to completely shut down my computer whenever I wish to unplug my interface ?

Thank you! Now if only we can get someone from Digi to read this, we may be able to get a fix thrown out!

The mbox 2 mini doesn't support plugging/unplugging while your mac is still on. It may be the same with the micro.

That is correct - none of our USB devices support hot-plugging, which can definitely cause kernel panics.

Bob Brown will look at the panic log to see what may be causing this (other than hot-plugging, obviously) as soon as possible.

The first non hot-pluggable USB device(s) i know and i hope also the last.
If i knew this before i wouldn't have bought one, as this makes laptop use very impractical, to say the least.
