Default Pro Tools 9 on Newer Mac OS

Hello everyone,
I'm still running OS X Snow Leopard (10.6.8), and really need to update to a newer operating system. However, I'm not sure that my copy of Pro Tools 9 will work on any newer systems. Is it possible to run PT 9 on, say, Mountain Lion or Mavericks?

Not qualified, I never had luck running 9 on 10.8

It loaded with a work around and it ran fine for 2 weeks then went berserk and never worked again even after uninstalling and reinstalling

Best bet is to stay with Lion 10.7.4. That was the latest version that I was using everyday with PT9
