Export/Import Template Section

Hello everyone.

Is there a way I can save and use only a certain section of my session as a template?

For example: I like the settings and effects used and routing I have for my vocal in a session.

I would like to be able to import this exact set up in future projects as a good starting point.

When I select save template - it looks like it wants to save the entire session as a template.

My only thought would be to export the session template - open the session template and delete the unnecessary tracks and save again...

My next question would be - would I be able to import this template into an existing session without losing any of the existing session...

AFAIK, you can Import Session Data from a Template, so you could bring in whatever you wanted from your Template. Also, look into Track Presets, as that will probably do what you want as well.

Thanks The Weed - this is exactly what I was looking for.

Just checked out a YouTube video, and it explained it very well...

New to the mixing world - so learning some of these features by their correct names would be my stumbling block...
