Default Revibe and Reverb One

Having just made a huge change in Pro Tools, I moved from PT9HD system to the latest native on a Mac M1.

Reading an earlier post from JFreak, it said "same license goes for both. revibe 1 is TDM/Accel only but revibe 2 works AAX native/DSP".

Does that mean I can still use the iLok assets to authorise Revibe II. Is this still the case, or do I have to upgrade the licenses from 1 to 2?

Default Re: Revibe and Reverb One

Your original ReVibe and Reverb One licenses authorize the latest versions.

Download the latest ReVibe II installer from:
https://www.avid.com/plugins/revibe-ii#Downloads
Click on the drop-down arrow: “DOWNLOADS – Pick a plugin to download”

Download the latest Reverb One installer from:
https://www.avid.com/plugins/reverb-one#Downloads

However – here’s some good news:

Your 2021.12 license includes the Avid Complete Plug-in Bundle (which includes ReVibe II and Reverb One) as well as HEAT.
These show as “Subscription” licenses in iLok License Manager and are available for Subscriptions, as well as Perpetual licenses that have an active Software Updates + Support Plan – these disappear if you don’t keep updating to the current Pro Tools version.

https://avid.secure.force.com/pkb/ar...e-HEAT-License
Q: Who is eligible for the Avid Complete Plug-in Bundle and HEAT?
A: Since October of 2021, customers who have an active Pro Tools Subscription or Pro Tools | Ultimate Subscription are eligible as well as Pro Tools & Pro Tools | Ultimate Perpetual customers with active Software Updates + Support Plan.

Thanks for the detailed reply. I noticed the Complete Plugin Bundle, but didn't want to be reliant on something based on a subscription.

I am on Monterey within PT 2021.12 and I think it is not compatible yet for any of those plugins, including the Classic Compressor Bundle.

The latest ReVibe II and Reverb One is v18.1 (scroll to the bottom of available downloads) – but they’re not working in Monterey 12.2.
Pro Tools 2021.12 gives you the option to move them to the Unused folder.

That's what I thought, but after downloading a few different versions it turns out that the second in the list "Revibe II" is 18.8 and I guess newer. Still not working though.

Unfortunately I got a new Mac M1 with Monterey already installed, so I'll have to manage without a lot of plugins until they catch up. It will force me to try new things.

My mistake - thanks for pointing this out – sorry for the wrong info!

There’s also an 18.8 version of Reverb One:
Reverb_One_18_8_Mac_104330
Reverb_One_18_8_Win_104284
ReVibe_18_8_Mac_104282
ReVibe_18_8_Win_104283
Avid_Complete_Plug-In_Bundle_18.10_Mac
Avid_Complete_Plug-In_Bundle_18.10_Win

(No excuses - but OCD’s like me would prefer the latest versions to be at the top of the Downloads drop-down Menu!)

Fair enough, I've read that others feel the same.

However, why not try HEAT (if you haven't already)?
If you like it and your Plan lapses, you can now buy it for US $199 here:

I completely agree with you and the updates being in a random order is what cost me quite a bit of time and confusion. The latest update didn't even have a number next to it.

Thanks for the tip and I may well try Heat once everything else works.

Being reluctant to rely on subscription plugins is twofold. I already own most of the bundle individually and I really have to be able to open clients old sessions without too much extra work.
