DAE issues running PT 5.1 with dual boot 466 G4

I know this question is coming from the stone age, but here it is anyways:
I own a 466 g4 model with a 30 gig hd, and 640 Mg Ram and currently use Jaguar as my primary OS. My problem is this:
I purchased an 001 used and am trying to find out whether I've been ripped off or not. The software included was only version 5.1.1 and therefore won't operate in OS X; so accordingly, I tried to set my startup disk as OS 9.2 in order to launch PT and test out the Digi. The installation process went fine (installed OMS 2.3.8 as well). I restarted the computer but when I went to launch Pro Tools, it took me through all the plug-in loading phases only to tell me it was "UNABLE TO CREATE DAE DECK" and won't start a session. I am completely unsure whether this damn thing is going to work or not. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

1) I believe you can update to OS X Protools for $30, but just can't run the latest version given 001.
2) You'll want to upgrade your G4, I just went from a 350 to 1GHh, $230 for Sonnet at ecost.com, plus free printer with rebate (if they ever come). Huge difference in performance.
3) I had that DAE Deck problem, I believe it was a hardware issue, but I'm not sure. Check card in slot, make sure your profiler sees it.

Got 'er all sorted. Thanks mate! Stupid me, I figured if 2 other PCI slots didn't work, than it wasn't the card...apperantly I was wrong; I tried the 4th slot and it totally fit and clicked in just fine. Before, the green power light was on but the Phantom light would not light up...supposedly that is the REAL test for anyone in a simialar situation. Now all lights work, the Digi Test as well as Apple System Profiler recognized the card ...all systems go! Thanks!
