I did like the sound of SoftLimit in the 2000's but wonder if it's still relevant today with all the other competing options? Has Apogee been updating/improving? Maybe it's still a worthy option -- I've just not used it in quite a while. After the new computer install, and seeing the 300+ plugins in my plugin folder, I'm trying to be picky about what else gets added. If it's still a great limiter, I'd guess I'd go for it.

The word around town is that it's still very much relevant and people seem to like it quite a lot. And the price is great!

I share your thoughts on being picky about what I really do need now. It becomes tiring looking at a list of plugins that go off the bottom of the screen and makes it slow to diagnose problems if they occur.

A bloated plugin folder also increases the possibility of compatibility issues. Thankfully, SoftLimit doesn't appear to be a risk.
