Autosuite without renaming the files?..Help

Autosuite without renaming the files?..Help

I have hundreds of files with long naming structures and I need to keep as the name I have them in the edit window as but need to also use L1 mono to limit them without having the name changed in the edit window, could someone explain how to do this?
