Default Which is the better Mac for the job??

here's the situation: which would be the better computer for PTLE on OS9?

-- A dual 450 CPU G4?
-- Or a 1gig G4 single CPU?

my guess is the 1 gig, 'cause on OS9 PTLE only runs on one chip anyway, right?

opinions/help appreciated.

t.

The 1GHz will be faster in most respects.

Go with the 1ghz , but find the computer with the faster system bus. There are three versions out there. 100mhz, 133mhz and 167mhz go with the faster system bus by all accounts and find a fast single processor.

check www.powermax.com and have your mac customized for the situations although I would suggest looking at the future and invest on a new mac and move on to the latest PT software.
