the current playback engine does not support a sample rate of 47.9 kHz
getting this error when opening a PT5 session. Happens on HD and non-HD systems alike. Can't get past the error.
Thought it was conflict between Pro Tools Aggregate and mac/PT using different soundcards. Not true. I've dumped databases and deleted the PT Aggregate from Audio/Midi setup and still not working. Any help out there.

Have you tried creating a new session and using Import Session Data? I find the particularly old sessions can be touch and go, especially since they are usually using tools and plugins that don't exist anymore. ISD often helps.

Is it possible the session was pulled-down to 47.952?
Try creating a new session and importing data from this one, as Dan suggests. kasper
