Default Digital picture \'Stuttering\' on playback

I'm running 5.3.1HD on a G4800 (OS 9.2) with an Aurora fuse card (v.2.0.3). I have my picture on my internal and my PT session on a SCSI drive with my audio, I have an ATTO card (Express Pro-tools v.2.8.1).
My playback buffer is set to 2 (I've tried it with 4 with no change)
On playback I have been getting a stuttering picture, Any ideas

Make sure you have the picutre track in ProTools set to view as blocks.
Set the Fuse output to video only in the control strip.
Drag the ProTools movie to the bottom of the screen, so you can just see the top of it, or save the movie in Quicktime Pro really small (postage stamp size) and put it out of the way on the ProTools window.

Still stuttering? Borrow a hard drive as above.

Check the data rate on your fuse QT movie.

You may need to lower the data rate of your fuse movie.

When you export or capture it...set it somewhere in the range of 700 to 900k a second.

If you can borrow another hard drive, hook it onto the atto scsi chain, transfer the video to that drive and see if playback improves, it's not the best bet to try to play back video from the Mac internal hard drive...
