Editing and Playlists
Is there a way to make additional playlists get edited, even when they are not showing?
For instance, when working on a live show. I'll have several different playlists of the lead vocal after overdubbing. I'll comp the vocal to a new playlist. I then begin to edit the show, taking out space between the songs, maybe editing out a chorus here and there. Now, if I decide to grab a different phrase from a different vocal playlist, they are not "with" the song anymore, because playlists don't seem to get edited with the rest of the song. IN ADDITION any hidden tracks don't get edited either. Why would you want it this way? The tech guys at Digi say it's for the people in post. But can't there be a feature to let you do it either way? I've asked about this before. Has anything changed in 6.7? Or do I just have to drag out all my playlists to actual audio tracks before I edit? Thanks
