Command 8 faders won't move

Alright...I've had my C8 for about two weeks now...I only just got to play with it this past weekend... I've noticed that 80% of the time when I'm in a session the faders lock to where I cannot adjust the volume on the Command 8... I can mouse-it and the faders move accordingly...But the reason I bought this was so I didn't have to use the mouse to make fader movements...Everything else seems to be working correctly with the exception of something an earlier poster made (the play and RTZ function takes two or three hits for it to work)... But can somebody PLEASE help me out with this

You might need to download the latest firmware from the website. I think this is it http://www.digidesign.com/download/c8/ I had jumpy faders until I got this. Look at the jumpy fader thread. I think there is a link on it as well. I hope this is helpful.

I had this problem the first time I plugged my C8 in. In case the firmware download didn't work, make sure that your power supply cable is plugged all the way in and screwed into the C8. My faders wouldn't move until I made sure it was all the way in.
