iLok activation doesn't work

Hi everyone,

I just bought Protools 9 and want to upgrade from my old m-powered system.

I still have the iLok which was included to the Protools M-Powered 7 Version, I used the last few years.

Now I tried to install this iLok to activate the new Protools Upgrade and I wanted to do it step by step as the manual guides me.
I went to www.ilok.com and created a new account.
The next step should be to visit www.avid.com/activation but if I enter this site, I get an 404 error.
I tried it on another PC, afraid that somenthing with my I-net could be wrong, but it seems to be an error of the avid site...

I don't know where to activate the iLok now or who is rensponsible and could be asked.
Hopefully someone here can help me, I've already installed Protools 9, but can't run it without ilok activation!

Try going to this link and see if you have the same problem:

If you are able to go there and login to your Avid account, then click on "Activate & Download Your Product"

I can't find an Avid account for your email address used for your forum registration, so I can't tell if you already created an Avid account or not. If not, then you will need to do that first by clicking on "Create Your Account" on the right side of that page:

If I enter your link, I can login and type in my activation key, but as the site wants me to type my iLok-ID in the next step, it says: "There are no qualifying upgrade products on this iLok account. Please try another iLok account."

What's the problem with that?

I have same issue, and my ilok no longer has as far as I can tell have the activation key on it, it has all my plug-in's etc but that's about it, can anyone help to get my DAW software working again....
