Is an Intel i3 third generation processor fast enough for PT 10?

Edit to add: This particular processor only has 2 cores.

You will definitely struggle with anything less than four cores, and eight or more is ideal. Many here would even steer you away from an i5 and tell you to just save for an i7.

I often use cpubenchmark.com to shoot out different processors. If I were building a new system today I wouldn't go with any processor that has a score lower than 6000 on that site. The latest i3s are putting out around 4800 which is surprisingly good, actually.
