That shows nothing except Avid stuck the Eleven Rack on its booth at a trade show. Yet more flogging if a dead-end non-supported product. If they want to convince anybody otherwise deliver something or commit publicly to doing so. And ironically they showed it in a mount with a power amp/speaker that they had to admit was yet another non-product.

Guys, I've just been given the okay to post some bit of information that was sent my way so here it is.

Final Sale Date for certain audio products
Avid has announced the Final Sale Date for Fast Track USB II, Avid Recording Studio, MobilePre MKII, Fast Track Ultra 8R, C400, C600, Mbox Pro HW Only, Mbox with PT9, Mbox Mini with PT9 Avid is announcing the Final Sale of the exact products listed below. Supplies are limited.

- Mbox and Mbox Mini with Pro Tools 9 should be transitioned to Mbox and Mbox Mini with Pro Tools Express with the available Pro Tools Express to Pro Tools crossgrade.

- Mbox Pro HW only customers should transition to the Mbox Pro with Pro Tools SKUs.

- Fast Track, MobilePre, and C-Series will be replaced with future product release. In the meantime customers should transition to Mbox Mini.

Customers with Fast Track, MobilePre, and C-Series products can continue to purchase assisted support (via ASCs) for five years after the Final Sale Date; hardware repair/replacement for these products will be supported in accordance with Avid’s standard support policies.

As you can see, there's no mention of the 11r, so the product is still in the plans for Avid. These products will keep selling as long as there's supplies.

Also my apologies if it's hard to read, I can't seem to make the usual vbultin bbcode for tables work with this forum.

Even though the eleven rack is not on that list does not mean they will still roll out updates though.......

If they are supporting the discontinued products for five years, I sure wouldn't worry about eleven rack or any other current product that isn't on the list!

Fast Track, MobilePre, and C-Series are the only hardware listed and everything else looks like it's just different bundled software.
