Default Apogee Trak2...Does it allow 8 channel of A/D or only 2?

I'm looking at buying the Trak2, but in Sweetwaters magazine it shows an optional "8 channel A/D card" for about a grand. Now is this a typo or does this unit only offer 8 channel D/A? Basically can I get 8 channels of audio into this puppy....Your response is appreciated..

Must be a typo, they only offer an 8-channel D/A card. You can route 8 channels into it through an AMBUS card, but that would require an external converter, which would kind of defeat the purpose I suppose...
