Avid Announces Availability of Pro Tools 11

Avid today officially released Avid Pro Tools 11, a major upgrade of our industry-leading digital audio workstation that redefines music and audio production for today’s workflows. With Pro Tools 11, audio professionals get exponentially more processing power compared to previous versions—using the same hardware—to create bigger, more complex sessions.

The new Avid Audio Engine enables customers to monitor record inputs at ultra-low latency without sacrificing plug-in performance. The Avid Video Engine supports playback and editing of a wide range of HD video formats right in the Pro Tools timeline, simplifying collaboration between mixers and video editors. And offline bounce to disk speeds up the output of mixes while ensuring ultimate accuracy.
