Midnam, Middev and SMF Files
All I want know is what they are and what they are to eachother.
Midnam files. Middev files. & SMF Files. My issue is a guitar pedals patchlist is put in SMF & not Midnam or middev. I don't know where to look to get a middev file. I just want patch names and midi controls to get recorded. |

Re: Midnam, Middev and SMF Files
You might be better off starting this thread in the Guitar forum. As some might know the exactly guitar pedal you have and could offer assistance.

Re: Midnam, Middev and SMF Files
Well I took your advice. But since it's midi related, it can pertain to any device. It isn't not audio it's all in the boxes. GT10, Yamaha Piano, RolandTD-9KX2 I'm getting the last one soon! WooOoo! but anyways...
Speaking of the topic, isn't there a place that teaches crap like this in a school? I swear you can't be left to read it, you have to see it done. There should be a video class on working with every midi file. ha At least so that PT is able to use a variety of languages. Midnam SMF XML. I just want to know how to get patch names from a pedal source that writes it as SMF when PT8LE needs a Midnam & Middev file. |
