2 weeks seems too less...

About the P4 thing...
It seems like a rep' talks.
I don't believe XP would achieve such improve to P4s.
Unless new processors generation is coming I think AMD will still be best for ptle.
Also any "p4 instructions" to improve speed require doing so in RTAS plugs or 3rd party to get the advantage...

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">Both the P4 and Athlons run better on WinXP. I have a 1.4Ghz T-bird on WinXP that is as smooth and fast as I've seen. Much faster than this 1.33Ghz T-bird on WinME. Browsing the net is about twice as fast too. Almost identical setups otherwise. WinXP is a great OS so far to me. Haven't had one freeze or hangup in over three months. I'm looking forward to the migration.

Guys,
I have big time project in July , other than PT all my other softwares run on Xp , hence I upgraded my box to Xp, I checked with Digi about xp drivers, clearly explaning my situation, they told me nothing is in air for Xp atleast for 2 more months,
as planned I am going to get new pc with windows 98 by end of this week though i am angry with them, I am happy they replied quite frankly about it.
so....until FALL 2002 we are going not going to get any xp support.

vocalize (v-man jeje)Sorry, digi has stated before that they'll be no more upgrades compatible with Windows ME or older, just Windows XP "ONLY" and so far the HOME edition, although David Summich said something about "THINKING" (a.k.a., NOT sure) that it would have no problems running on the Professional version.
