BUG: dialog box is unreadable!

I can't see all of the text in pop up dialog boxes (that indicate playback engine settings, errors of any kind, etc.). It seems like the font is set too large, so it gets cut off! Changing my Windows-wide settings has no effect.

It's particularly interesting, because when I open a session, the Locating Audio Files, Restoring Audio Files, Restoring Tracks dialog box is fine; the font is smaller. But errors within the session have my "font too large" problem, which will cut off the end of the warning. Most of the time the end is the most important part!

Anybody have this same issue?

Nope... What screen resolution are you running at? Have you tried reinstalling Pro Tools?

Screen resolution is 2560 by 1024 (on a Matrox Millennium G450 DualHead card).
Install is fresh, and this problem is facility-wide, on 7 rigs.

That's a non-standard screen resolution -- I suggest you 'phone tech support and tell them the screen resolution and see if they support it.

Why non-standard? Isn't it just twice 1280x1024?

Now I'm in a different room rocking 1920 x 1200; same problem. We also have some older monitors that are running a very standard screen resolution (1280 xs 1024)... same problem.

I had this problem when specifying the extra large Font. Return to normal font and the problem goes away. except the font isnot large enough.

Specify the font within Pro Tools, or from Windows?
