Default problem in instaling pt 7.4

hi,i work with pt hd 7.3.1 cs6.now i try to instal 7.4 but i have this message (your computer is missing a windows xp update requierd by protools.please instal all available critical update before instaling pt).i have xp sp2 so how can i do?

I would install Service Pack 3, its out and Digi approved and any future PT version may require something thats in SP3.

Its approved for LE I should say - I would make sure its approved for HD before updating. I think it was approved for all systems.

EDIT: Qualified with HD.

Install all critical updates on Windows Update site and try install again.

Strange, I'm having the exact same problem. I burned the CD of the SP3 update and went to install. Critical error popped up and it couldn't install the update. I'm lost now. Any takers on how to fix this?

If you dont trust Windows Automatic Update, You can also use Autopatcher, which is more configureable regarding WHAT it actually downloads and installs.
