Mbox latency
This is my first post here. Just bought an mbox.
I'm having a problem with latency between recorded tracks and tracks I'm trying to record. I've turned off programs I'm not using but still have the problem. Using a Sony Vaio PCG-R505 laptop, 1.13 GHz, 256 MB SDRAM. Any suggestions? Thanks, Bill |

Re: Mbox latency
Hello,
On the record enabled track, bring the fader all the way down. When a track is record enabled the fader is not the input level, its just the monitoring level. Then on the front of the Mbox turn the Input/Playback pot towards Input until you have a good mix between playback and the input signal. This way you can monitor the input signal directly through the the hardware without latency. regards, mike |
