Default NI Komplete 10 and Ultimate Released

Doesn't look that cool as lots of the VI like Massive, Kontakt and others aren't updated at all so no go for us until something really awesome happens

€399 update for less that 10 new Plugins .. No thanks

Best

Yeah - big yawn here. 3 new pianos for Kontakt and a couple of Reaktor ensembles - nothing I really need. Outside of that all they did was ti bundle in some stuff that was previously sold separately. Biggest thing with this release it seems to me is the Kontroller keyboard and software to make it work (perhaps a replacement for Kore which went by the wayside some time back).

Some of them look good. If they dropped the price to $450 Id consider it. But like 9 Id probably only use half of them. Nearly all the new stuff is cinematic. Id rather save up and buy a really good hard synth, instead of making music that sounds like a movie. Maybe they'll have an end of year sale.

Value for money...no, I cant see it. Who needs a weird modular effects plugin? What can you do with that..make soundscapes? I wondered what I could use kenetic metal for cause I found it interesting, but the only thing its probably good for is film. Cant hear it in dance music for some reason.

I'm curious. What kind of dance music do you produce? If it's EDM stuff, I can understand your comments about the cinematic stuff. But these type of sounds are used in LOADS of electronic/dance tracks.

And Molekular is an amazing effect plugin. I don't see how you couldn't find that extremely useful in electronic music.

I'm p#ssed at N.I , as it was only a few months ago I bought K9U at full price , then again paying for the upgrades to session horns pro and supercharger GT

..., Im not interested in the new synth stuff in K10U , but some newer pianos would have been nice ..., but not at the upgrade price, as ive already paid more than that for my Sesh horns pro and GT

I find in dance music today there seems to be a trend leaning towards more stripped back, simpler sound, similar to the electro that emerged 5 years ago..kind of video game style. Everything tends to be cleaner.

Have you used Kenetic metal on dance, to a beat? Not sure how the morph wheel works, if you can syncopate it to rhythm or anything. It seems very random. I dont know. Wish there was a demo or at least a good review.
