Hello! Well a few days ago when launching Pro Tools HD 10.3.10 I received DAE -1115 error halting the launch. I tried again and received the same error. I then tried to run DigiTest and immediately got a DSI -1115 error. This is a HD4 setup with one HD Core, one HD Accel Process and two HD Process PCI cards. I haven’t had this happen before. I also removed all cards and reinstalled with same results. Whatever is going on also started causing the Mac to boot up slower than usual. I know this because after I removed the cards, the Mac boots great. I also launched Pro Tools 10 without any hardware installed and it launches and opens fine.
Any clues as to what these errors mean and where to start? Thanks in advance!

Ok no replies but I started troubleshooting; I’ve started reinstalling the cards one by one and testing. HD Core works fine, no issues. Next I added an HD Accel Process card and again have no issues. Today, I tried adding an HD Process card and immediately started with the same issues of non-launch and DAE/DSI errors. I removed the HD Process card and was fine again. I still have another HD Process card and will test that tomorrow to see my results.
So considering adding the one Process card started errors DSI -1115 when launching DigiTest and Pro Tools gets stuck at launch, does this sound like a problem with the Process card, the Flex ribbon, or a Flex ribbon port on either card it attaches to? Anyone?

Hi,
Digitest will show you which card is faulty! once failed thats it, remove from system. but they are cheap now SH or better still get accel card instead. There's a slight chance it could be the flex cable between the cards so worth testing with core and suspect card and known working flex cable just to make sure. but sounds like process card has gone bad. Thanks! Problem is that when it’s experiencing this issue I can’t even get DigiTest to launch(DSI error -1115). I’m going to try this last Process card and if it passes I will then try moving the flex cable and see where it goes from there.
