I very quickly looked at the AIR installers from the Plugin Boutique link given earlier and it is a mess. Only looked at MiniGrand and DB-33 so far. It sure does not include RTAS or AAX anything support for DB-33 and MiniGrand unlike the specs on AIR's website for that product bundle, but who knows if this is their real latest installers.
The AU plugins are Symbiosis wrappers around VST2. Some AIR marketing content implies there should be AAX plugins in the bundle for all plugins included. If you have a bundle and say the bundle supports RTAS, AAX-32 and AAX-64 then every damn thing in the bundle you actually sell and ship better do that. And you better provide installers to do so not expect customers to pull them out of their asses. And other support/marketing content implies you go to Avid for these (I've always believed the later).
And the packaging is just a mess, version numbers used in the file names don't match the version numbers in the plugins, which differ say between VST and AU plugins. They do crap that just irritates me (which OK is not hard) like ziping up installers that are already compressed that saves no space, and just adds more stuff to do, and why do it on some plugins and not others, and then some of the zip files have installers stuffed in folders within that, some not. It's like they hired some contractors to throw together crap they had lying around. Which may well be exactly what happened. AIR seems such a useless incompetent company I really would not spend money with them. The only two AIR plugins I purchased I think I paid $15 each for and they will be the last.
Again I would hope you should be able to get many of these plugins from Avid. For the ones you can't if you really want them then maybe get them individually from AIR. But again, again you can author/work with VIs starting with Pro Tools Intro on a modern OS and have access to a world of modern VIs. Paying ~$400 or $500 for one of the AIEP bundles seems expensive here if money is tight.

Great you feel comfortable about the seller, but even better would have been for them to try to do a license transfer to you. If they tried and could not then great they tried. If that could have been done you might have some of these VI installers sitting in your Avid.com account (but again I don't own a discrete Pro Tools HD 10 license and am not totally sure), but at least you could then try asking Avid support for them. If anybody with a Pro Tools HD 10 legacy license can say what plugins are in their My Products download that would be great, helpful for future reference as well.

I agree. This started with a PT8HD license that would be transferred to my account.
But if these 4 converters work (and they do) to buy a new license for between 1700 and 1850 euro is relatively cheap. So in the mean time, while I work in the dutch harbour, the self endulgance is to get this rig up and running. With a selfmade (Fender) (parts) Tractor bass (and more instruments) and to be able to re record all the songs I once wrote. Maybe record some more.
I had a Bag End Crystal set for a 5.1 P.A. system. I won't be able to repeat that. But to have my safe place at home and create the songs and mix them in surround is my a endulgange.
