PT7.1 crashes when opening PT6.4 sessions

I'm a very recent upgrader to HD3 (today) and I'm experiencing crashes when opening PT6.4 TDM sessions, When I import session data I imported one track but it did'nt place the regions within the track, the regions were all in the regions bin though but what good does that do me? Is this a known issue because I couldn't find anything about this in the database.

Sounds like two different problems to me.

7.x crashing opening 6.x files is most likely a plugin incompatibility. Make sure all your plugins are updated. Antares Mic Modeler will do this every time as it hasn't been updated yet. Any tracks using that plug in this particular session? If so, import everything minus that track into a new session. Now...

Importing session data... make sure you select "import main playlist" or whatever it's called. There's a special section for playlist management in the session data import window. The option you want is not selected by default. Perhaps it should be, digi? Sorry I'm not at the studio right now, so the exact parameter wording escapes me at the moment. But look for it, you'll see what I mean.

I had a feeling it was a plugin issue. I have'nt used Antares Mic Mod for a long while but I know what you're saying. I remember I selected replacing existing playlists so it's gotta be a plugin conflict. Maybe the NI stuff or Trilogy or something like that.
