Default trouble with core audio manager 7.3cs1 and cubase 4.1

Hello,
I've used my 002 rack with Cubase SX3 and 4.02 without a problem. Now with the just released 4.1, i get constant hickups, weird noises and audio chaos during playback. The noises sound as if the asio driver was stumbling or hanging, sometimes samples sound as if delayed, then played together all at once. I have done all the suggested troubleshooting, deleting the preferences files etc.
Some people in the cubase forum suggested the problem lies with the coremanager not being adapted to 4.1. Could you confirm that? If yes, is there an update planned?

Hardware: mac pro,( OS X 10.4.10 ) 2 ghz ram, digi 002 rack, cubase 4.1, audio core manager 7.3cs1
Thanks!

Have you tried trashing the Digi Core Audio prefs?

Go to the preferences folder and delete com.digidesign.CoreAudioManager.plist

Reboot, launch CoreAudioManager, quit, then relaunch Cubase/Pro Tools.

hi there,
yes I've tried that, no change. The thing is that I had no trouble in Cubase 4.02. it all started with the 4.1 update.

Unfortunately we have not received the 4.1 update for testing yet, so I can't say for sure if there's anything specifically wrong with it.

I would recommend creating a new admin account and testing it there, just to rule out any corrupted preferences or other user-level system service preferences causing conflicts.
