Frequent crashes when working in the MIDI Editor window

Everyone on this thread should report this to Avid. There's really no point in chiming in with "me too" or "anyone fixed this?" beyond a certain number of posts.

Avid does fix stuff. Not always what you want, not always as quickly as you want, but it does happen. But only if you actually raise a case.

Now admittedly I do not run big sessions. Usually 6 to 8 audio tracks and 1 to 5 instrument tracks... BUT I just spent several hours editing a session of mine with::
3 instruments , two Falcon tracks the Model D piano and a Celeste and a Slate Drum track ---with no glitch or problem at all

Bumping it up.
Additionally, since the MIDI editor doesn't recognize a MIDI track's assigned-controller, it must be added. Doing so crashes ProTools 2021.7.0 with just one unassigned MIDI track in the session.

This did work in PT 12. I used it extensively on a major project.
