upgrade to version 6.0.1 and hope for the best.i have found a number of midi faults with v6 and some of them have been fixed by the new version .
as i try to use midi on protools i seem to have the nack of always finding something wrong with it and all i,m trying to do is what my dedicated Yamaha qy700 did very well except it didnt have a large computer screen and a mouse, but it did have reliability which sometimes is better.
good luck! but i,m still waiting for the next version before i go to protools midi and i hope i don,t die of old age waiting, thanks Damir age 43

Thanks Damir.I think a may wait to try 6.0.1 as I have read other posts(since I made this one)about the issue and other users are having more trouble midi wise than they did before the upgrade.I calle tech support and they advised me to try another midi interface such as the Midisport 2x2 but i have not tried it yet ($)has anyone had any luck keeping MTC communications using a different interface?
