Then correct the theme title to 2024.10 if this is possible!? Maybe moderators can fix it?

And then for 2025.1, a UI/UX overhaul, designed by a new team of people who have serious UI/UX chops. The Pro Tools team has so many other chops, but that's their Achilles heel.
PLEASE, never change the UI.

The UI is the Reason I MOVED to Pro Tools, as it's the best DAW GUI in the world without peer. It's the only DAW apart from Logic that never looks cluttered nor ever hurts my eyes.
And now with the custom coloring of most of the GUI - it's peerless IMO.

Just want to put a balancing opinion out there.

Agreed, I generally like the UI as well. However, some nice scaling and HiDPI/4k options so I don't have to squint at the text would be lovely.

and yes to de-bundling Sketch from the main program!

The old UI is one of the best things about Pro Tools, it needs to slowly and carefully evolve. And it takes real skill to add new capabilities without screwing this up. Some changes made in the last years have been a bit ham-fisted and stuff that just should never have happened or been caught in user feedback. Like the "chin" windows for MIDI, clip effects, etc. that's been discussed here before. The Windows single Window UI really needs to go away.

One bad thing about recent changes of multiple different types (e.g. plugin cache changes) is the lack of really well done documentation, troubleshooting and knowledge base updates etc. to go with the release. Pro Tools doc used to be great.

Yes, I'd like to add this to my list. Better integration w/ 4K monitors.

Ok yeah that, agreed. But not the layout or anything, the mixer, etc. Just make high DPI, but it's perfect otherwise.

It's impossible,
Without Bug PT-263050 being fixed, it's not possible,
with all the routing going on in big Pro Tools sessions, it's important to know where each signal is going,
if I can't update the software, I can't update the hardware neither,
if this means the end of Pro Tools for me, then I'll end up stuck here forever

Exactly re. the UI. I would also like to see resizeable text for the clip, track and group lists. And Avid’s plugins are way too small for 4k. I’m scaling everything third party to 125/150% of their native size.
