Assigning send using S1 - numbers are out by one
When assigning sends using my S1 the numbers are incorrect - if I select bus 50-51 then it will actually assign bus 49 (one previous in the list of busses) in Pro Tools - so if I want stereo bus 50-51 then I'd have to select bus 50 on the S1, then press in and it will assign bus 50-51 in pro tools.
How can I fix this? |

Re: Assigning send using S1 - numbers are out by one
Bump, no one else having this issue when assigning sends?
The numbers/names are correct the rest of the time, it's only in assign mode... |

Re: Assigning send using S1 - numbers are out by one
We can't reproduce this here with the current betas of the next releases of EUCON and PT so hopefully it was an anomaly. What versions of PT and EUCON are you on?

Re: Assigning send using S1 - numbers are out by one
I'm on the latest versions:
EUCON 4.17.121 / EUCONTROL 2023.11.0.121 PT: 2024.6 I also re-installed the firmware on the S1, just in case but still have the same issue. I could try the betas and see if that fixes it? Can you send me a link if this is an option? |

Re: Assigning send using S1 - numbers are out by one
Hi Eddie,
I've just done a quick test and I think what is causing the issue is a 7.1.6 bus. I have one set up in my I/O. All busses listed after this bus are out by one number. Assigning busses listed before the 7.1.6 bus is fine. When selecting busses on the S1 in assign mode - the main 7.1.6 buss doesn't show up - only it's sub busses (L, C, R etc...). Attached is a screen shot of my buses in I/O setup. You can see the first sub buss of the 7.1.6 bus "ER 716" is "ER 716.Stereo". When cycling through the list of busses on the S1, it goes straight from MB PAR 1 to ER 716.Stereo - missing out ER 716 - thus all subsequent busses get assigned wrongly. If I try to assign bus "ER 716.Stereo" using the S1 nothing happens. If I try to assign bus "ER 716.C" then pro tools actually inserts the bus before hand - so I end up with bus "ER 716.Stereo" This then follows for every bus afterwards. I hope this helps diagnose the problem? |

With that new info, we can now see this. We added it to the list to fix, thanks!
