Bug: "There was a problem stopping Pro Tools"

To the Avid techs:

Happened while editing, not having done anything special. After that I was able to save the session and access the menus, but transport did not work anymore.
Also I wasn't able to quit PT, had to force close.

This happened with PT HD 11.1 on OSX 10.8.4.

I couldn't find a crashlog in the console for this event.

Alright, I might have found the culprit.
The video file I was working with (Apple ProRes 422 (Proxy) 1080p) seems to have a glitch. At one particular point there are some artifacts in the picture and the burnt in TC jumps back and forth for about 10 frames.

As soon as playback in PT 11 hits that spot I get this error message, and no video is being displayed anymore across the whole timeline. Seems like this glitch crashes the video engine.

PT 10.3.8 has no problem with that glitch. It's just displaying the artifacts and moves on like nothing's wrong. Obviously so does Quicktime Player.

The video engine in PT11 still needs to get some attention, I think...

I get this error alot... Using Blackmagic HD Extreme 3D+ .. Guessing it`s a video engine error?

+1, getting this at least a couple times a day running PT11.3 on Windows 7. Also random video stops, rec/pause probs, and the dreaded "waiting for video operation to complete". Seems to be worst if I do several edits in quick succession. Sometimes I can close and reopen the session or disable/re-enable video playback to clear up the problem, but often it requires a restart of Pro Tools and/or the computer.

Would love to see the video engine problems addressed in the next round of bug fixes. They're a creativity killer when I'm working on my own, and downright embarrassing when clients are in the studio.

I've been getting this all day. I have to quit and relaunch PT. It's aggravating as I'm overwhelmed today and I don't have time to deal with this.

mac pro mic 2010 running 10.10.1 with PT 11.3.0 on HDX cards. running video just on my monitor, not through Kona, is same.
no problems with video as someone mentioned above. H264 640x360 and it's not taxing the system.
